August Featured Cheeses and Sandwiches

Deux AmisFeatured Cheeses

It’s all about the beer! Enjoy two beer-infused cheeses with your favorite brew from Gourmet Cellar. We recommend uncorking a bottle of Deux Amis, a collaboration between Belgium’s Brasserie Dupont and America’s Lost Abbey Brewery that’s a “dry, refreshing Old World Saison full of peppery spice that finishes with New World flavors of floral orange and earthy pine” to serve with one of these beer-infused cheeses for a satisfying patio snack on those hot August nights.

Tomette Pietra BieraPierucci Tomette Pietra Biera

Sheep’s milk and barley beer come together in this complex cheese. Bring to room temperature to open up the gentle nutty scent, supple and springy texture, and sharp hoppy aftertaste. It pairs beautifully with your favorite Gourmet Cellar crackers and beer like Deux Amis.

Prima PilsPrima Pils Cheddar Spread

Handcrafted with hormone-free ingredients, this cheddar spread merges specialty Wisconsin cheddar with Victory’s Prima Pils beer, whole grain mustard and onions for a smooth but complex spread. This tangy, lively cheese is perfect for no-cook appetizers; spoon it into small peppers and cherry tomatoes, spread it on a slice of prosciutto wrapped around a pickle slice, or on hearty bread or whole grain crackers. It would be the perfect snack for an evening of tasting a range of unique beers from Gourmet Cellar.
